The Dell Solutions Tour is taking place in a couple of days – and we mean that quite literally. Happening on the 7th of October at the BMICH, the Solution Tour is a dual event – part conference, part expo (“e-carnival”, to quote Dell). The entire event happens from 9 AM to 9 PM, with the conference lasting from 9 to 11.30 AM.
What can you expect there? In the conference, a whole lot of ways you can use Dell in your business. The invitation promises to “explore the major forces affecting companies today” which means you’ll likely hear about data, cloud, convergence, analytics and insights, and, of course, security. The e-Carnival is a bit more ambiguous. We’re expecting a whole host of stuff and the usual sheaf of walk-away offers. We also expect the crew from Gamer.LK to set up shop there – this forum thread describes an invite-only Call of Duty 4 tournament with the top 8 teams on the island, hourly NFS: Most Wanted tourneys and unlimited Mortal Kombat and Tekken.
