TechKatha and HackerNest to kick off on Saturday!

Great news for all techies: two excellent meetups are happening on the same day, and they’re both free. More to the point, they’re being held at the same place (the DHPL building in Nawam Mawatha – Microsoft territory) on the same day – Saturday, the 12th of July, from 9AM to 5PM. The first part of the day will be the TechKatha meetup. It’s going to like this:

9 – 9:30 AM          : Registration + Intro to TechKatha
9:30 – 10:30 AM   : Mobile App Development Workshop by Microsoft (pt. 1)
10:30 – 10:45 AM : Snack Break
10:45 – 11:45 AM : Mobile App Development Workshop by Microsoft (pt. 2) 
11:45 – 12:30 PM : Mobile App Development Q&A Session
12:30 – 1:30 PM   : Lunch
1:30 – 2:30 PM     : 3D Printing Demonstration
2:30 – 3 PM          : Surprise 

From 3 onwards will be the first HackerNest Social event. HackerNest Socials are something we’ve talked about before with gusto: it’s basically a purely social thing where nerds and geeks meet up and talk whatever they want to with each other without running into speeches, Powerpoints or panel discussions.
