eMarketingEye, the Sri Lankan online marketing agency, gained more international acclaim as they bagged five awards at the 21st Annual Communicator Awards (2015) held recently. The Communicator Awards is a cherry-picking of the best of the best, sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, an invitation-only jury “consisting of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms. AIVA members include executives from organizations such as Airtype Studio, Big Spaceship, Conde Nast, Coach, Disney, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Estee Lauder, Fry Hammond Barr, Lockheed Martin, MTV Networks, Pitney Bowes, rabble+rouser, Sotheby’s Institute of Art, Time, Inc, Victoria’s Secret, Wired, and Yahoo.”
Based in New York, the Communicator Awards is one of the largest award ceremonies of its kind in the world and reportedly receive over 6,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes from across the globe.
eMarketingEye won two “Award of Excellence” (read: Gold) awards for the Aitken Spence Hotels website under the category “Hotel and Lodging” and for the Ayurva Traveller website under the category “Travel/Tourism”. The company also won three “Award of Distinction” awards – for the 98 Acres Resort & Spa – Ella website, the CASA Colombo Collection website and the Taya Finch website.
This isn’t the first time the company’s nabbed international victories – they’ve got a number of awards under their belt, including Best in Class Awards at Interactive Media Awards (IMA), Best SEO Strategy Award from ad-tech, Google Campaign of the Year 2010 and Google SME Agency of the Year 2009.
