For many tech enthusiasts across the planet, one of the biggest events on their calendars is Google I/O. The annual conference where Google makes its biggest announcements. Of course, not everyone can make it to the actual conference in the US. That’s why we have not one but two Google I/O Extended Sri Lanka events happening this year. And one of these will be hosted by Mobitel.

Google I/O Extended Sri Lanka 2018 by Mobitel will be happening overnight at Stein Studios. It kicks off at 6 PM on the 8th of May and will end at 6 AM the following day. So what can you expect from this version of Google I/O Extended? For starters, you’ll be able to witness the live stream of the Google I/O keynote where you’ll hear the biggest announcements from Google. These can range from their work in VR to the next version of Android.

Alongside this live stream, you’ll also be able to learn from local tech industry leaders. Some notable names we’ve seen are Sharanyan Sharma – Founder & Chairman of ExtremeSEO, Tony Weerasinghe – Founder of MillenniumIT, and Dhanika Perera – Founder of Bhasha Lanka & PayHere. They will be on stage to share their experiences with you. Additionally, Mobitel will also include a few entertainment acts in between as well.
