Informatics Institute and Technology (or simply IIT for short) is a reputed institute offering various programmes in Business management and Information Communication Technology. They will also be holding their annual exhibition titled “Cutting Edge” on the 26th and 27th of June at the IIT Campus premises at Ramakrishna Road, Wellawatte from 10 a.m. onwards.

The exhibition is an annual event held by IIT to demonstrate the theoretical and practical knowledge of the students within the Institute. The event will showcase IT and Business projects researched and developed by the students of IIT.

The projects showcased by the software engineering students would include artificial intelligence, mobile technology, virtual reality, augmented reality, image and sound processing and web security to name a few of the projects.

The students will also display business projects in the fields of sales and marketing, travel and tourism, entrepreneurship, health and a number of other innovative projects.

In addition to all this, Cutting Edge will also feature a Hackathon, a Gaming area and IIT’s official radio station, iFM.

So if you are doing nothing in particular over these two days or wish to see the innovative ideas put forward by these students, all you have to do is head on over to IIT and see the action as it unfolds.

As always, stay tuned with us as we bring you the latest events at Cutting Edge as and when it happens. Maybe even indulge in a selfie or two while you’re at it.
