No judge in an Apple-vs-Samsung lawsuit would say that. And no, we’re not kidding. This is a general comment from the judges of Tantalize 2012 to every band that performed here. Bass  guitarists, that one is for you.  And also some more advice, again from the pros: (and here we quote):  when you have a guitar, stand up. It looks sexy.

Alright folks, Readme here. It’s been a fantastic evening, the bands have done their best to make their mark, and here we are ,waiting for the judges’ verdict. Who’s going onto the next round, and who’s gonna end up going home?

We don’t know. From our point of view  it was a great medley of varied tracks from varied bands. A great job done by the student organizers at APIIT – Tantalize 2012 committee, this is your cue. The judges, however, are not as easygoing as us: they’re picking the bands apart with the good, the bad and the ugly in their performances. Symphony Experiment  Xrays aka S.E.X. looks like it’s the most-applauded by the judges for their all-round performance.

Anyway, we’re not music critics, just reporters. This is us reporting on our off-day here at Readme (yes, busy fingers). Even geeks occasionally need to get out for some fun. Our curse (or blessing) is that even on off-days we can’t stop doing what we do best: giving you the headsup on what’s going on.

We’ll see Tantalize again on the day of the finals at the Museaus Auditorium. And hopefully we’ll be doing our thing as always. Now we’re off – it looks like one of the committee members is having a birthday, so we”re off to see if we can get some cake.  This is Readme, over and out.
