Microimage is a name that’s well known in the Sri Lankan IT industry. What started off as a club in the halls of Ananda College twenty years ago is now a multinational company known for being a leading provider of HR systems. Last year, we saw the company unveil its latest product: Microimage HCM Cloud. This was the company’s answer to help companies transition from the traditional model of HR to digital HR. And now the company has formed a partnership with Businessary to upgrade this system.

Recently, Microimage Australia Pty Ltd, which is the Australian arm of the Microimage group had formed a strategic alliance with Businessary Pty Ltd. In case you’re lost, Businessary is a specialist in providing business and HR professional services to businesses in Australia and New Zealand.  The company describes itself as, “A trusted advisor that supports businesses to meet their business challenges and optimise business performance.”

Commenting on this strategic alliance, Peter Wijeyaratne – Director of Microimage Australia had said, “Workplace dynamics, culture and processes have changed dramatically over the past few years and with the new millennial mindset, and the digital savvy workforce now a dominant part of the employee mix, we are confident that our combined expertise in software and Businessary professional services will be a game changer in the Australian market.”

Annabel Rees – Founder and Managing Director of Businessary also commented on this strategic alliance saying, “Our purpose is to help businesses find a clear path to optimal business performance. Businessary has a depth of knowledge and resources in contemporary HR practices which we provide our clients, and we can see a fantastic synergy in coupling our experience with the Microimage solution to offer our clients and other organizations an HR system solution that is user-friendly, intuitive, and easily customized.”

Annabel added that with this partnership, Businessary’s smaller clients will now be able to utilize Microimage HCM cloud, which was previously inaccessible to them due to pricing and customization costs. Furthermore, with this partnership, Microimage is able to expand its reach in both Australia and New Zealand. This comes after the company announced that it was also entering the Vietnamese market earlier this month through another strategic partnership. And so, multinational that was born as a school computer club, continues to forge new partnerships in its quest for world domination.
