PayPal spreads to ten more countries

The loss of it’s President doesn’t seem to have affected PayPal’s expansion plans. The e-money giant disclosed to Reuters that it will expand to Belarus, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Monaco, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Zimbabwe, Paraguay and Nigeria. Of these, Nigeria, with close to 50 million Internet users, is clearly the largest market.

According to Rupert Keeley, PayPal’s VP for the EMEA region, PayPal’s been reworking many of its services to make them more mobile-friendly and easier to adapt to up-and-coming markets better.
