A Success. The Microsoft Student Champs Monthly Meeting

The Microsoft Student Champs Monthly Meeting – September 2012, was held on Friday the 14th, 4PM at Microsoft Training Room, 11th floor, DHPL Building, Nawam Mawatha. Around 120 Champs attended the event which included university students from Jaffna and Sabaragamuwa university. This is known as one of the  largest student community in Sri Lanka.

Starting with, the industry presentation “Information Security in a Developer’s Perspective” was presented by Roshan Chandrasiri (Cheif Information Security Officer/Senior Software Engineer – Epic Lanka).

Tharaka Wijebandara (University of Moratuwa) presented on “An Overview of Facebook Platform”. Both presentations were followed by Q&A session.

Maurene from NetAssist explained about Microsoft certifications. A discount voucher worth Rs.1000 was given away for the champs who were interested in following courses.
