Totalamber launches Nintex in Sri Lanka

The software company also launched in Sri Lanka. Organised by Totalamber which is a global software services company based in Cheshire, UK, with offices in Colombo, Sri Lanka; Kelowna, Canada; The Philippines and in the UAE, in association with Nintex and Microsoft, Sri Lanka, the Launch of ‘Nintex’ in Sri Lanka took place at the Galle Face Hotel, Colombo, recently. The keynote presentation was given by Mr. Kok Koon Gan, Technical Evangelist for Nintex, with Mr. Imran Vilcassim, Country Manager of Microsoft Sri Lanka, as a guest speaker. Invitees for the event included CIOs, IT Managers and decision makers from leading blue chip companies, financial organisations and other recognised companies in the island.


Speaking on behalf of Totalamber, Asela Samarapperuma, Vice President Asia Pacific said, “We are pleased to be the exclusive partner for Nintex in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Mr. Imran Vilcassim, in addressing the gathering said, “While a company’s structured data can be in its ERP system, they would also work with a lot of unstructured data. But there needs to be a way to capture the unstructured data and process them in a way that would make business sense. That is where Nintex comes in.”

At the launch event, Mr. Kok Koon Gan introduced Nintex, explaining that the platform is people-centric and considers how people work, not just within the office environment, but also outside the office network. Nintex customers have shared positive feedback since implementing the Nintex workflow automation platform, including a 20% improvement in productivity and management visibility, reduced approval times from three weeks to two days, and faster and accurate data capture with significant cost savings.

Joy Rathnayake, Senior Solutions Architect at Totalamber, highlighted in his presentation, the availability of new developments and capabilities including Cloud-Inspired Experiences, in the upcoming release of SharePoint – SharePoint 2016 as well as Office 365. It is expected for Nintex to benefit extensively by leveraging on the new cloud and on premise features.
